    What? I never said that a compression chamber doesn't affect the sound because I know it does. What I was saying is that the presence of the chamber doesn't make this not a transmission line. The same way that having no taper on the line doesn't stop it from being a transmission line enclosure.

    It all depends on your definition of a transmission line. Without question its a 1/4 wave, but definitions of the term 'transmission line' will vary depending on who you ask. I know more than a few old school designers that will not even acknowledge those as anything resembling a true tline. Which I stated. Again its just semantics and I was bored.

    Mir, what impedance are the coils on that EU700? Want to hook it up to my O-Audio plate amp I have at my apartment? I bet we could get that thing to jazzed for sure of some real power.

    D4 wired @ 8ohms. that would be rad to do. but you live so dam far.

    Im deciding on a bunch of HT stuffs now, since i feel i am far along in my car audio portion thats done.

    Dude...come on. Wired at 8 ohms that sets the plate amp at 250rms; that would be perfect. Plus, you can hear the peerless subs that I built along with the HSU setup.
