You should hit up 18inchjeepin, he has a pair of 18 MT's in his HHR. It plays low like crazy. He should have a vid or 2 for you.

2 18's and a SS 6500 last time I heard it. I know he is rebuilding for the finals. He had a **** load aero's he was selling a while back.

Thanks Fred, that box was low, sorry no vids but it did bounce cell phones off the roof pretty good, and could flex my hood and fenders, but nothing broke...yet
I only have 2 4in areos left, and some 6 in, but those are for my special project-oops

well, ed lester also has a hhr with stock alty, i was running 1600 watts rms to the type r's before and had no dimming, also had stock alty. I dont under stand how but what ever.
Ed basically broke it down that the HHR has a voltage regulator that has the ability to spike up to 16 volts and can handle a large load (only 90 amps). If i ran 1600 watts rms with no dimming then it should handle 2200 faily easy, i also bought a kinetik 2400hc from 18inch just in case, so the new batt should cover this with ease.

i am going 2200 watts before is was 1600 watt.... between that change in wattage, not a whole lot really. the subs will make a big difference tho,
