the ones im talking about have a little hole that you put the screw through, then a flap piece that covers that and clips on to itself.

yep, thats the kind i want, with the flap piece. I'll go back to Lowes again maybe tomorrow.

Just got back from lunch at work, and I can definetely tell the difference from the old box. Since it was daylight i could actually see **** flexing, my defrost vent on my dash is now cracked . I'll try to shoot a vid this afternoon after work, but the g/f wants me to put up the holloween decorations before i mess with my truck today

Ok, weather is ******, but i might get a vid today. got all the halloween **** up... I set the amp gain with my DMM, when i had the gain on 1/2 it was reading 120v , but according to the chart i have I should only need 90v for 4,000w @ 2 ohm right?

yeah, its right, because according to the actual formula (4,000 (watts) x 2 (ohm load)) and the square root of that, so square root of 8,000 is 89.44v... hmm, so this amp is making 5,000w+ ??? over 100volts ?

i had the pair of 20.1's reading out over 151vac

im sure they dont put out that kind of power...lol.....im thinking distortion.
