Whats up guys

This has been in the process for a good 2-3 weeks now. I got a summer Flu which put things on hold, then I had a wedding, then I had work the last 5 days in a row, but I am finally done

Here's the pics, feel free to ask me questions/ give input.







Got a new Ryobi Plunge router.... how do some of you round the edges on the outside of the box?? If i did that, i'd hit all the nails...??


I added some fiberglass sheet to the corners for extra strength... dunno how necessary it is, but I figure it can't hurt.

Hey man nice use of chocolate!

i'd try to clean the excess silicone or whatnot on the inside of the port, it will cause some turbulence and we don't want that.

other than that looks like it should get loud

I know it was kinda sloppy.. the tube kinda warped so it didnt fit completely tight, so I had to load up on the silicone so there were no leaks, BUT, i smoothed it out, so its not just like, gobbed on the inside of the port

specs? aero sizes? etc?

box is7.1cu. ft i believe.. dims are 14x25x38

3x 4" Aero's, tuned to 30hz.

now the real test... does it fit??? its gonna be dam close! to lazy to throw it in once I got the top piece on to check

im kinda mad i didnt get a vid of the sealed box, just so people can see in the same car, same power, same sub how it compares to the ported...again...to lazy

I would have done more bracing as you have some LONG panels on that box, so it's probably going to flex some...

but as far as the flex... we'll see what it can do... i hope it impresses me compared to the output on the sealed box... which was pretty **** good, but im lookin/hopin for a little bit more... i hope it doesnt suffocate my trunk
