well I found an oldmobile bravada that I fell in love with and picked it up
was super clean. I would still be driving that except for the stupid awd kept breaking![]()

from the day I bought it, it was three days until Mardi Gras Nationals in Louisiana...so I started the night I bought it...and 2 days later with the help of some great friends I was TOTALLY finished.

I had the first DD 6.5 midbass they came out with in the doors....
with some crappy planet audio tweeters...that I thought sounded good. Then I realized how HORRIBLE it sounded, tweeters were wayyyyy too harsh would make you wanna go deaf (or wish you were)

This was the first year that Street A was offered in dbdrag, so I decided to give it a shot. Went to finals and would have came in 5th if the cd changer wouldn't have jumped out of the console lol.
This was the loudest box I built for the 2 DD 9910s
With the 2000d it would do a 150.2. Changed out to a rockford T3000 and did some changes to the box and got it doing a 152.8. Would do a 151.1 with 1 10 in a different box.
Put a panasonic changer in the console
and changed out the eclipse for this panasonic

While all this was going on, I also started trying to get a competition team back together and do some crazy installs.
This a buddy of mines 2 door Tahoe. 8 JBL Gti 10s and 4 JBL 1200.1s this thing SLAMMED box was a tad too small but it was tuned low enough to still throw down some low notes.

Had another s10 that didn't want to cut his truck out so we did this in the rear window....
a single SE 15 with a visonik 1000d. Didn't sound bad but didn't meter that great either, he didn't want anything permenant so I couldn't seal it off totally.

Then after the competition season got over I decided to do a nice street pounding system in the bravada.
8 Incriminator Audio 187 10s and a crossfire 2000d. Would do 152s on music and sound great.

Now then, while all this is going on I start getting more and more ideas about how that grandpa truck could look nice with some work (started growing up I guess)
So I decided to get started on it again, went and bought a new ARE snugtop...made it look 100% different IMO

then the fun started!!!
Had to cut the snug top to match the cutout of the cab of the truck
Got a new enclosure built and installed
And tried something different to set the subs back a little bit so the new seats I was putting in could lean back

Finally got all the subs in and wired!
Man it looked mean! lol

I also put some red neons in the back side of the plate that you can't see in the pics...but it looked awesome at night
Then we decided to try one of our first fiberglass jobs. A console (what a disaster)
I guess looking back it turned out "ok" but was ghetto compared to what I do now
got it ready to wrap....
and got it finished

bought a super cheap flip out screen on ebay, was about 3'' thick and you had to fold it yourself lol
with a ps2 in the back part of the console
![]()
put the radio and eq in the front of the console so it wouldn't skip.
Was a cool idea and if we put some more time into wrapping the console it would have looked a lot nicer
