You should be able to have it broken in before the 2200D arrives.

with the 700 watts i got now...the mids are loud and sounds good...
like on I Put On-it barely picks up the low bass.

I bet the AQ2200 would make it pick it up

why do you want to play low notes?
youve been told that its going to make noises if you play low notes before breaking it in

Re: AQhdc318 + AQ2200 in my 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Well, I think it all depends on how stiff the sub itself is and how much power you intend to throw at it RMS wise.

You'll find that most will say "just wang away" and typically that would be OK, but if those AQs are super stiff, I would throw half to 3/4 the RMS handling is on it for a couple of days and not go past half volume on it. Stiffer subs need to get loose before you go full throttle.

In my case for instance, I have 2 RD Alpha 10" and I will throw 1600 to each of them. I was told by the owner of RD to put 1000 watts to them for the first 2 days and send some 45-50 hz tones through them for short periods of time.

That's just my opinion and advice.

Re: AQhdc318 + AQ2200 in my 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee

well they arent real LOW notes
Gucci mane has LOW fuckin notes. lol
    I definitly dont play those.
    I play
    Ya Dig
    Put Me In The Freezer
    Money Man
    Lil Shawty
and they all have good notes to break it in.
None of those songs have REAL LOW notes that can mess up my sub in any way
remeber its 700 watts and Im not putting it full volume.

    Yea true that
700watts is about 1/3 of what im about to have in a couple days and Ive been running that for about a week.
the AQ hdc3 is REALLY STIFF but i cant tell its starting to move a lil more
