If you have a smaller box it will peak at a higher frequency which would be closer to your vehicles resonant frequency.

ohh yeah do you think that the amp could run below 2 ohm for a burping? I heard its not stable

A friend of mine got his to run at .7 for burps but my amps never could do it. They can do 1 ohm easily for burping, but I wouldn't run it lower than 2 ohms for music.

Yeah you could bust a 50 with a smaller box, tuning near your cars peak, and playing with sub and port positioning.
If you make a new box, use some aeros, and fire subs up, port back rex style. Plus with aeros you dont need to use as much port area and they dont take up as much space.
Then you can plug a port to change tuning.

Nice Mike, I may build another box than just to play with. Maybe I can do it in one of my construction classes.
I was goin to orignally do aeros but was having trouble gettin the tuning right in the box with my program.
Hehehe, sweet idea. I may build a box for 1 15", and throw my buddies colossus on it. so 3200 to one 15 and burp the **** out of it. As a matter of fact I do have a 3.8ish cube box tuned to 35 hz. hmmmm
btw I want to download some hz test and tracks. Anyone got any for me, or a place I can get them. Realm isn't letting me burn to a cd with my computer. I can just download to my laptop and hook it up to my deck

I'll check if we got the equipment in the shop, I'd imagine if we can build a house in our building than we should have a few saws.lol. I'll keep ya in mind man. Want to get it metered first. Can't wait to run some hz sweeps thru it tho, thanks man

Well I didn't get time for vids while home, I will get pics with my cell tho, after class sometime.
Not sure if I am totally happy with the setup. I'm sure I need more tuning. I want to get a better all around sound out of it. Everyone that sits in my car says its stupid loud and say their chest is starting to hurt/ affecting breathing. Honestly I'm gettin use to it, but I don't think I am too sensitive to loudness. I don't know.
I tried a hairtrick on music too, and it would move my gf's hair, but not in a crazy way. It would all move but not like other vids. Idk, Kinda bummed. But I have much more to do. I need my big 3 done and I would like to keep my voltage at 14. The hairtrick was at 12.3 ish volts so at 14 another 1k would be comin out of the amp and that should make a differance. Any input?
If I can get the cash I'm thinkin of doing 4 15's next summer. Some input, pointers, or incouragement is welcome.

If you can get in this area sometime you should let me check it out and see if I can help you get a little more out of it.

yeah that would be sweet Mikey. With school at Ferris and bowhunting coming soon, there's just not much time. I would love to come check yur build out when yur done.
I think the pionner 880 is what is mainly holdin me back....still need to figure the **** thing out, man my 6800 was sooo much easier to get use too
also my voltage, and I can see my alt having a little trouble recharging....gonna need a mechman at some point.
If it's cool with you Mike, maybe I could call ya and walk you thru what my settings are. Wish I was closer to ya right now.
Subs started to smell after playing at high volume for a while too, but I was playin them hard, and I'm sure they were just getting hot from being played hard for a good time. Normal I do believe
