well somone at tint wizards dissed the install. and was talking ****.. so he is comeing back with this....

Should spend less money on the audio and spend more on a proper paintjob.

I like custom cars to look and sound as good as they look . I don't knock the guy thoughh a lot of people get there music right b4 they do anything else. Doing so isn't nessasarily a sad thing but with some people it isn't a good thing either.

sat at a drive in for 4 1/2 hours just blasting my **** with the car off . watched two movies.. car started right up and sat at idle at 14.1v

i was going to build a system im my civic just dont know what ima go with yet. i have 2 vr2000d in my jeep on 2 fi bl loaded 12's right now. but i wanna leave that in there and have some 15's or 18's in my civic

I love 15's. Two of the 15" bl's would rock hard in your civic but if you were to do two 18" Btls in your civic now that would be very very very nice

thats a nice build. i was just thinking about doing 6 12''s in my tahoe in that style of box.

^^^^^I agree with that idea, subs up and port firing up front into the seating area of the tahoe.. Depending on the enclosure that is built and the brand of subs you use this thing can sound so freakin sick 6 DC level 5's or 6 DD 9612g or 6 incriminator Dp's or 6 Sundown night shades. As you can see the possiblites are endless. I think there is a guy selling 6 sundown version 1's for a really low price of $40. If I can find his link I''s post it. I belive these subs handle like 500watts rms.

i wouldent doubt it.. we will have to see what the meter say's....

i think 4 would have been enough if not louder..

that's what i was thinking, sure 6 gets the wow factor, but you'll probably get a better result with 4 15"s that are in an appropriate enclosure
(IMO, safely assuming the enclosure is too small for 6 15"s)

from what ive been told it's 14-16cf net as for the ports I couldn't tell you any tuneing

ok well I talked to the guy who built this and the voltage does drop to 11 when the car is off but when it's running it stays at 14. he has a 200 amp ohio gen alt and 3 optima bats along with the 6 caps for his electrical

saw this car in person yesterday.. pretty clean install, no big 3 FTL, ohio gen alt (180 amp at higher rpm ), 3 batt's. and 1 run of 1/0 back to the 2 batt's...

sit's at 11.5 , gave him some tips on how to up the voltage, and how he should up grade his underhood wires with the big three.. hope he takes the advice.. when the car is reved it brings it up to 13.0

car is loud.. but just dosent sound like it would brake 146+, it may/ may not..
we are all going to a comp next saterday so well see what he hits.

This ia perfectly normal for most HO alts. You're going to sacrifice some voltage in order to get the amperage.
