The slash amps are definitely nice. But the only thing I like about them over other good amps is the fact that the can put out full power from 1.5-4 ohms. But for the price, I would much rather have the Alpine PDX amps. Smaller, sexier, efficient as hell.

I will always think that JL is overpriced. The w7s saving grace was that it was so technologically advanced. Now I can get subs that sound as good or better for less than half the price. But with the TW5, they again have a product that no other company can match (at least for another 6 months or so).

JL slash series need 11-14.4, voltage drops don't cut power.

not to dog on the PDX, they are reallllly nice and ****. I have one lying around. very sweet amp. I hoped the JL revisions on the slashv2 series would have looked better and sexier but oh well...., its the quality not the looks right?

there were some other amps id rather have used but very few to give me the power at the final load i need
i could have had harrison labs build me one for less but figured JL makes their amps to work with their subs so WTH

Dang those subs are nice, tis almost a shame to put them downfiring where others won't get to experience the full sexyness.

maybe once i get some #s up and everything people may be willing to spend the 500+ on them to avoid bulky 40+ pound woofers.

Personally I give 2 squirts of **** about SPL numbers but I bet those subs sound very clean and smooth witch I would care more about.
