It would be easy to find the freq of that truck. Measure from the base of the windshield to the farthest back point inside the cab. Convert to feet and then divide that into 1130 (speed of sound in air). If too high, divide by 4 to find the quarter wave.

    Ex. 105"/ 12" = 8.75ft. 1130/8.75 = 129.14 Hz. Since thats too high of a note divide by 4. 129.14Hz/4 = 32.28Hz.

SPL is one note... SQ is a flat 20-20.
If ported, always tune to CRF 33Hz... aka the Golden Number
    Refs: F150Truck'in, 6spdcoupe, Brypink, Bartak1, Forklift, na_rsx and a few others.

Thats sweet, so would this be a fairly accurate way of finding the freq in most walled vehicles?

It is q-waved at 40hz 4" past the windshield.

Works out fairly well, car peaks at 42 with the seats in.

    thanks for the comments

    Me too

I guess I could have figured it would be pretty simple with basic math but I never thought you could get as accurate of a measure.

Sweetness Time to go grab my tape

maxxsonics h2 not my cup of tea, but I dig the show style, just could never build something with so much painted fiberglass. I would much rather wrap pieces..

    Maybe its just me.

And it's cool if you dont like the way I build stuff.. no sweat
