WOW!!! I'm probably one of the "older" guys on this forum....I used some of those "Becker" subs (The clear looking one's). I had 4 8" subs in a 1980 Civic Hatchback....The box was actually made too long so I had to lay my back seat down for it to fit in there...I had them powered by a Sherwood 70 + 70 amp...Unfortunately, this system ended up getting stolen too......I had a friend who had that Sanyo 50+50 hooked up to 4 12's in a 1981 Accord Hatchback....I can remember one time I rode around with him and he was setting off buidling alarms with it.....I also remember how systems always sounded so good in those "Smokey & The Bandit" TA's....So many people ran "free air" subs back then...I know that I sure did....VW Rabbits were very popular and guys would mount their subs in the cardboard-ish type of hatch cover.....That was abviously WAY before the subs had huge magnets like we see today!! I cannot wait to show my friend these pictures....I sure wish I had some to share but never thought to take any

That isn't just old school. That is Vintage. You're showing off gear from the infancy of car audio. I remember playing with some of that crap with my dad when he would out fit his conversion vans before I had a car of my own to throw gear in. To me old school is anything from early 90s or older, some of this is just old old school lol. I'm surprised I didn't see any Fosgate PR-2100 before the Rockford years. Alphasonik and Sanyo definitely got a lot of love from ya.
