Does the trunk act like one big box when you mount subs like that?

yeah, it has a huge effect diminishing rattles that you would normally get from sealed or ported enclosures, though it doesn't matter whether or not I close the trunk, hence the Infinite Baffle design, great SQ, less output

oh its very close to being done. we sat in the car for about 3 hours last night listening to songs.

but. dtour didnt mention this - the other day he stepped on an L18

so we gotta wait a few days until he can order a new one. i think he might have crinkled the coil a little. im not sure really, but its audibly distorted. so, its only like $75 we need to find some 7.5~8" grills for them


should have the trunk carpet trimmed and in at the end of the week, and the false floor carpeted and installed as well. gotta paint some liquid deadener over some of the rear deck to cover up the foam. but so far so good



and by the way - the front of the whole thing is carpeted and the cones look awesome, but the camera ran out of batteries before we could take more pictures

I think them woofers look like some double D *******, which is **** as hell. Psh, only if I can fit 15" ******* like that. I only have one 12" C-cup *****, Total Recall style.

what do ya mean man? they were like what? 13.8" in diamater - and i could fit one arm and shoulder plus my head through there. im not a fat guy if thats what you mean

the baffle is held up by the reinforcing bars on the left and right in this picture

we were able to put tons of fastners into the baffle this way

and we myself and dtour went crazy with the foam... its not easy stuff to work with

and covered what 6.5" holes??

Not calling you a fatboy when I first looked at the picture, I thought your entire torso was through it. I can't fit my big arse head and shoulder in anything smaller than an 18"

well. personally i think he is going to bust the ****in cone off of them infinitys when the trunk is closed lol.

prolly just some 1\4" wood and some silicone
