    sealed enclosure by Bavarian3

I recently had bavarian3 made me a 2.5 cubed sealed enclosure, transaction went smoothly and the box is great. Double baffled to ensure the box doesnt flex and I had him carpeted it in tan/beige. Everything looked great, only thing that he forgot to do was put caulk on the inside back portion of the box, that was no problem as I had some caulk laying around and applied the stuff myself. I waited 24 hours for the stuff to dry and I was impatiently waiting. The next day, I installed the new box, turned it on and it hits extremely tight, really clean and hard. It hit some bass notes that my previous enclosure wasnt hitting, which was a 3.0 cubed sealed enclosure. But one thing I noticed was that the 2.5 cubed enclosure doesnt hit as deep and smooth as the 3.0 cubed enclosure. Overall the box is great and I may have bavarian3 make me a ported enclosure in the future, just to hear what all the hype is about with ports. I dont have any pics of the setup because I dont have a digital cam, but I can take some crappy ones from my cell if anyone would like to see. Overall, he's a great guy to do business with, great and fast communication, he gets an A++++++ from me! Thanks Bavarian3!!

I didnt know where to post this so mods please move if its in the wrong section.

Yea just went from bigger to smaller. My first plan was to go with a ported enclosure, but decided to go smaller sealed and see how it sounds like first, I might go ported in the future.

    Thanks for the feedback

On the caulk part i usually dont even use it all together as with tight joints + wood glue is more than sufficient enough for a tight seal.
