sold me a pair of TC lms-r 12's a few weeks ago that he said were BNIB Straight from thilo of TC


well as soon as i finally got power to the subs they started doing this




sent him an email telling him whats up after originally showing him the first video of them doing the exact same thing...



he told me no refund and i should go deal with TC not him



he also in an email told me that he didnt kno if the subs were working or not when he sold them even tho he listed them ad BNIB.........

That noise and watching the vid looks like the copper coil is stationary on that motor, and hitting the backside of the sub,They must have gotten banged the hell out of for them to come loose like that,in my opinion.That Blows man!! Used Subs /and damaged is what you got.Blows man!!!

I hope it works out man...Those worth repairing,or cost as much as new???I ask,due to knowing very little about the sub, and rebuilding a sub.Ive just always bought another sub/subs,and moved on.

I think his thread said he had just bought them then needed to get the cash back. So if they are bnib and bought only a few months ago the warranty should be good if not he should probably be hit with the ban hammer.

have you tried reversing the polarity of one of the terminals look to me like the coils are fighting each other.

could just be a simple labeling mistake on tc's end

not taking sides just shooting you ideas
