Beware of Shootermain!!!

Briefly:

Shootermain is selling his amp:

I offered him 300 he accepts it and tells me if i don't pay by Monday, June 30th, he's trading it. I was out whole weekend so i thought it was gone and indeed on Monday he pms me and tells me he's trading it.

So i got in touch with another member of this forum and he said he'll sell his amp to me but it will take time. I agreed.

Then shootermain tells me that he still got it. So i tell him well im getting another one but i can pay u 250 for it (buying it for a friend) for stalling it. and he agrees to it. then you can see @ post #32 he got another offer and backed down.
I didn't even bother asking him why and all i asked for money back and he told he's keeping it, saying that i sent him 250 coz i felt i was stalling him and refused to refunded it.

Problem: I told my friend about this amp and it was actually for him since im getting another one and Since it was for a friend we did a mistake and used my friend's paypal address coz its his shipping adress there and he wanted to get it as fast as he could since im moving back to College Station and he's in Houston. And i had to give my buddy 250 from my own pocket.

I turned to Shootermain and after few pms back and forth he SENDS my buddy back (NOT refunds) $245, he got charged another $7.41 USD and he's left out with $237.59 USD. so he's basically out of $12. i told my bud not to worry about it and just get me back 230.

Shootermain is offline now and i doubt he'll give back anything anymore Coz i told him i want it by 3pm. and im tired of playing games.

I personally would not deal with him anymore but you guys decide on your own.

I never once told you that i would not refund your money... if you didnt come at me being a jackass i would have sent it sooner.. but i didnt feel like wasting my time on you.. you got the refund... i did not know about the refund option. i found out we can fix it. and if you want to fix it you have to do your part to recieve you 250 back....

yeah i was being jackass thats y it took u so long to refund it.

y do i have to send money first...again?
id rather u refund 250 first and then i refund your 245. y cant we solve this like this?

Absolutely true on the signature. I lurk the forum with minimal posts BUT YET, I've seen tons of member with high post numbers, long time join dates on the forums and they are ripping people off left and right. Personally, I don't have the time and patience to rip off anyone--it's just straight up unethical. Some forum members get in a financial jam away from the forum and blow their perfect buy/sell/trade record by trying to scam others to dig themselves out from under the financial curve.

X2 . Better than getting the 1.93 some guy got in the dispute. Just be happy you got a good portion of the money back and are not out of a bunch.
