I don't think they were questioning the strength of the staples, just the fact that you got staples to penetrate 3/4" MDF. The air compressor explains it though, obviously much stronger than your standard household staple gun, lol.

Yessir I like to staple all but one side on my enclosures. then the last side I like to weatherstrip and screw just so I can get the dam thing apart again and get my subz out without taking a saw/sledge hammer to her.
