problems with bass

my lightning audio speakers i know arent that great but my head unit even with bass on eq all the way down i can turn it up about 27 out of 50 they bump too much is it speakers or hu?

does your head unit have a Crossover? are u running the speakers off of the headunit or an amp?

Set your High pass filter to around 80 - 160hz
