I'm Looking To Get a New HU and I wanted To know what HU is The Best For Sound Quality. I have a PPI Amp Running CDT HD-52's and a rockford Running My 12 Alpine Type R In case you are wondering.

Clarion DXZ945MP
Pioneer DEH-P860MP
Alpine CDA-9855

If anyone has Hands on experience with any of these your help would be appreciated. Thanks

My friend has the Clarion. It is a real nice HU. Great SQ. I like for the following reasons:

Touch-Panel Control (Self explanitory)
Digital 24-Bit DAC (I'm unsure if the other units have this...)
CeNET Control of Optional Dolby Digital/ dts 5.1 Processor, TV Tuner, Sirius Satellite Radio Receiver, DVD Changer and 6-Disc CD Changer (Self explanitory)

Just my thoughts. Some may complain of reliability issues, but I've got nothing but good things to save about the higher end Clarion units.

I asked a similar question and Alpine got the most votes with Pioneer 2nd in votes. but i ended up going Pioneer myself because i got a better deal on it.

Id recommend the Pioneer. I have the 860MP, its a great deck. All the features I could possibly use, and some that I never will, but its nice to know they are available.
