I'm just finished building a sealed 3 cubic ft box for a 15" L7. It is going into the bed of a Chevy Avalanche so I wanted to use something that somewhat goes with the texture of the bed of the truck. My friend recomended rubberized undercoating when we were at autozone. I bought a couple cans of it. when I got home my other friend sayed not to use it because even after it dries it is still very messy and gets all over the place. Should I have bought the bedliner spray instead? Or will this not be any different?

If it gets all over the plce after it dries it is a really cheap coating. it should bond to what it is applied to. I dont know if it will bond to MDF though it is made for metal.

I wouln't go with the undercoating, it sounds like a bad idea.

I would use the bedliner, and then do the whole bed in that same liner to get an exact match.

yeah like rhino lining or something. Just do the bed of the truck and the box.
