Which system will make the best HU to start my system with.
Kenwood KDC-X789
Kenwood KDC-X969
PIONEER DEH-P8MP
PIONEER DEH-P7700MP
PIONEER DEH-P770MP
Alpine CDA-9851
ALPINE CDA-9830

I will eventually have Comps in the front and rear as well as 2 12" brahma or xxx in the trunk all amped up. but in the mean time they will be on factory fronts Boston Acoutic RX97s in the back, maybe 2 kickers in the trunk that i have sitting here. Eclipse is out of my price range atm so they are not listed in my choices. Im into SQ and SPL as I listen to many types of music but i still live in Bass City so SPL is big here.

My 9830 sounds great, but be aware that the display is all but invisible during the day time. When driving I am constantly holding my hand over the display so I can see it. If your car is bright inside, has a sunroof etc. look at something else. The new Eclipse 5425 is priced really close, I might be returning my Alpine next week.
