My new cabinets, being built by Kent (Mrray)...there's already a post on these over on SSA, but for those of you who are behind the times and haven't joined yet, here you are... :up2somet:

hell i would build them in mine if i had a dorm room but next year when i transfer i am taken my tools with me and building stuff in my room

Piano Black I think....

Frosty, do you know how they round out the edges on there? I will be doing the same thing to my HT sub I'm working on.

use a router with a roundover bit to get the rounded edges

use a router with a roundover bit to get the rounded edges

good times, especailly when kids diddnt counter sink deep enough at MD.... :)

Good guess...guess I should have given the specs...

It's a 1cF and some change (I know the number, just too lazy to bring the plans up now :)), tuned to ~71Hz.

Drivers are going to be dual 4.5" Fostex full range units in each...94dB/W @ 4 ohms for each of them. Not too bad, ideally I could have gotten 2 ohms, but it should provide a nice load to the amp. And yes, they're going to be finished gloss piano black - the resin/sanding work should be done by next week.

what resin work??? please explain. is it part of the primer process?
