i just got a 15" atlas for ht use and i thinking about getting this

you can find that amp a bit cheaper on ebay with a few mods done to it...
what else do you need?
....speaker wire and a source unit...

To build rear speakers, we need to know what kind of fronts you have.

there old infinitys, dont know any more than that
i think they might actually be rears out of my parents old living room.
how do you tell if there rears or fronts? im new to home theater stuff

I agree, but he wants 5.1 apparently, and timbe-matching is an important part of getting that right. More important for center/mains, but the rears should be somewhat close to the front soundstage.

sound stage with surround...interesting concept. but oh well.
