I want to add a good sub to our HT setup...
Thinking of picking up a plate amp from Adire, like the ADA1200... I don't think you can really beat it for the cost...
Which one of their subs would give me the Most output with that AMP... As usual, I want it all, I want it to hit Hard and Low and have a lot of output....
I can go pretty big on the enclosure...

BOOO tempest. if anything, i'd do a tumult. cannot beat it.

Sure you can...Pro audio rackmount gear is hundreds less.

on the contrary. from what ive read and the testimonies, the avalanche 15 does better in 4 cubes sealed off 700w in HT than a tumult did.
ask mr tarnell (or whatever his name is) over at SiN :D

Doesn't Pro Audio type gear have some type of XLR adapters vs just RCAs???

Depends, some have both.
Depends, you can order them with either XLR's or 1/4" phono plugs.
1/4" phono to RCA is just a simple adapter from Radio Shack or PE :)
