Maybe you have another electronic device too close to the screen. I know that if certain electronics, such as my rewinder, are placed too close to my screen they make the colors go all crazy. You may also have your home theatre sub too close, the sub will screw with the colors if the enclosure isn't magnetically shielded...

nope still have the problem it is on the right side. and it is green and makes all the colors messed up.

Have you tried adjusting the convergence? ;) If possible, try resetting to the factory settings from the menu... Does it mess up using all inputs? (Cable, VCR, Input 1, etc...) I'd just take it back if it's under warranty....

I personally like to try to fix something before I spend my hard earned money to replace it, but that's just me...

You'd get used to everything being upside down after a while, I guess... He means turn it upside down, then turn it right side up again...

yes i understand that, but when u have nearly imminent image burn on a tv thats out of warranty, u can either spend money fixing it, OR get something new OR fix it AND get something new. u really can't say w/o looking at it if its even worth fixing. it sounds like a simple shielding problem, but i doubt that he'd leave an unshielded speaker that close. and if he did, then he doesnt deserve the speakers or the tv.

I have the same problem. it is just the tube burning out, might last you a couple years might be dead next week. look for a new tv.

OK go to Circuit City or Best Buy and spend 89.99-249.99(Sony) for a new 20", you need it to be degaussed, someone probably walked by with a speaker and the magnet dicked it up, it's not image burn, fixing it would probably cost more than a new TV.
