does everything look good? I ran the numbers last night, but my brain was burned out from studying for chem so I probably made a mistake or two... :uhoh:
Hopefully this will work out.
and thanks to bcarpenter :)

when i did port calculations i got 3.147 for length so you are good there.

and you have .3 ft^3 for displacement?
Cause when i figured it out that is what you had extra. So if that is what driver displacement is i would say you are right on.
Is this for home audio use?
You are tuning pretty high.
So if that is what driver displacement is i would say you are right on.
I didn't calculate driver displacement...the drivers are pretty small: http://www.madisound.com/pdf/fostexdrivers/fe127erev.pdf
Maybe I should go back and do that...
The tuning is pretty high because they're full range, no tweets.
I got 62.82 cubic inches for driver displacement - comes out to around 3 hundredths of a cubic foot. I doubt that will make a difference.

my bad that is outside dimensions. I got to calculate displacement of the wood.
OK...I lengthened the box to 12 1/8" to factor for driver displacement:

is that correct? i'd like to get going on this box, so i can order the drivers...

what will you be finishing it with?
A light birch or maple veneer, most likely.

looks good to me.
Veneer is going to look tight on that box.
I would consider a red oak veneer.
But i am a red oak guys so that is just me.
