My box is 2.5 ft @ 32 hz and it still hits the lows with authority.

Until I get another amp or build another box, I'm running the hifonics to one sub.

I like my 3.0 cu/ft ported to 35 hz. My 12" sounded real good. Hopefully the 15" will sound even better.

A 15 in 3.2 cubes at 35Hz does not hit the lows very well just so you know...

My 12 is in a 3 something cu ft box, but ends up 2.5 after port
it hits lows like an average sub, but its crazy loud, it wasn't made to hit lows like XXX and some others subs
But for why it was made it does exceptional

what about a sealed box 4 a sx12......lets say 1.5cubes after displacement?
would that hit low notes like a se or xxx12?

:imo: That box is big for just one sub , is it the recommended size or a custom made.

Skip the sx, you won't be impressed with the way it sounds....although it gets dam.n loud.

When you say the SX gets really "loud", how loud is loud? Loud like a kicker or a fosgate or loud like a Kove Armaggedon?

If an amp is 300 bux and says it's 2000 watts (aka Power acoustic anything) chances are that you're really buying a 400 watt amp. You get what you pay for. How could someone possibly build an amp for 200 bux that costs everyone else 800.00 dollars to build? Yeah, not happening. It's all quite simple, your job is to not be fooled!

A good way to gauge an amps potential is this- $.75- $1.00 per watt. The bigger the amp, the cheaper the ratio.
God you're an idiot. So I have an autotek 3000.1. By your logic, it should cost at least 2250? Oh, and in case you didn't realize it, power acoustik really is not bad if you know what to get from the company. Please, learn something about what you're saying before you say it.

lol P.V. you sure do have a trend for making people feel dumb... I think that is like the third or fourth thread where I have seen "god your an idiot" in the past day or two. YOu go after the bullshitters don't you? I do agree that that theory is far fetched. Hell, you can get an Audiobahn High current series 2400 watts rms @ 1 ohm for 450 bucks. that will do the job for not a bad price while still maintaining good quality.... even for audiobahn
