the next thing im workin on here (going to start this weekend) is a box for 2 15" RL-P's from Sound Splinter. its going in a honda civic hatch, sealed. im glassing it into the spare tire enclosure for airspace. built in amp rack. is it safe to build the amp rack into the box? will the rattling mess it up?

what i try and do with fiberglass - is paint the surface with a light coat of resin, then stick the fiberglass to that and spread it from the inside of the piece of cloth to the edge with the brush to get bubbles out (lay like 3 or 4 pieces at once like this) then paint them all with a coat of resin, and repeat.

for me - its worked great. and if you get 6~10oz CLOTH WEAVE fiberglass, it works like a freggin charm. just remember to ROTATE the fiberglass in each layer, you want the 'grain' of the fabric to change, in turn - it will get stronger this way.
