In the $200 range
I have a hook up on DLS so those are my 1st choice

i would go with the dls. i really liked my c6's. tight punchy midbass and the tweeters were soft and smooth. these were the entry level dls so i would imagine the higher up would be as good and better.

had the worst expirence with the type x's, would never ever go that route again. Bought some rainbow comps and havent looked backed, than again they go for 600

haven't heard the type X's but I love my DLS R6A's so far. I doubt you could go wrong with a higher line from DLS.

Check out Aura MR52 from DesertHeat this forum. He's offering them for $140 shipped.
Do a little research and I think you may strongly consider these.Their excellent speakers for the money.

if your so stuck on the dls and not open to other peoples sugguestions, then keep it to yourself.

Im quite aware that dynaudio,focal and boston acoustics make nice speakers, but that has nothing to do with the question i asked.

what is this question that you asked? as far as i see it you already made up your mind so dont **** on the people that make a suggestion. they only want to help you in making the best of your system. so there is no need to be a **** about it.

... My friend got the UP5s after he heard my Iridiums.. I like his. Sound good in his Eclipse..
He is running a 600.2 as well..

I would not hesitate to get the DLS. I love my Iridiums. Although in the future I may go with some seas lotus or higher end Rainbows, yuummmy. That is not going to be for a while though, money not available, at this time.
