Hello,
This is my first post as I've only recently discovered CarAudio.com -- great site and a relief from some other forums I've been reading!
I'm about to take delivery on a DLS Iridium 6.2 component set and will be matching it to an Arc Audio 4150XXK (bridged 320w x 2 in 4ohm bridge mode). I purchased the DLS based soley on reviews and have never personally listened to them. From descriptions, the DLS exhibits all the qualities I am looking for in speakers (read: not bright).
I currently run CDT-HD62 and while they are very good, I am looking for more; I am betting the DLS will give me more.
My question to current DLS owners is: How do you mount your tweeters? I currently have the CDT tweeters in my Ford Escape front door A-pillars facing each other on oposite side. Can I mount the DLS tweeters in this fashion as well? Will it be wide dispersing enough to give that good center image?
