ok...i checked out the port calculator in your sig...

one more ?...im not sure i am doing the cross sectional port area deal right...is that the port width x port height, or is that wrong?

thanks

does it matter, for a slot port, where you make the "L" at, or could you have like 2" then the "L", and then the other 30" after that?

the L is what you use to determine the port tuning... The port area is the Width and height of the port.

Depends on your port area and box size...

thats what i got, but i mean where do i turn the corner for that "L". like say i have it going straight for 8" then turn for 24"...is that the same as straight for 24" and then turn for the other 8"

I don't catch ya.

For bends, measure the port length at the middle of the port. Also, if you use a side of the box as one port wall, then subtract 1/2 of the port width from the port length for end correction.

thats what i was asking...are those two ports going to create the same frequency?
