I am about to start building a custom ported box for my Immortal sub. What all tools and supplies will I need? I have looked on various sites and some have different stuff. Coud some one tell me what I will need, or any recommendations? Anyone ever used gorilla glue instead of liquid nails or wood glue? What is the best thing to mount the woofer with? Thanks...

Im ASSUMING you mean a regular MDF box. :up2somet:

Basic things you will need:

*Wood
*A saw for the straight lines, circular saw will work.
*Either a router or Jigsaw to cut the hole for the driver.
*Regular wood glue will work just fine, and save you a few bucks.
*A caulk gun/silicon caulk, clear is the best - To seal the box, and maybe
the ring around the sub.
* Drill, unless you are putting screws in by hand.
* Tape measure, and square
* Screws (1 5/8" Course threaded drywall)
* Clamps if you feel the need.

I think thats it. Everyone Add on. :cool:

Uh to mount the woofer, if it has no rubber gasket of some type, then put a bead of caulk around the lip where the screws are, and screw that bish in.
