the 9815 is this a good model? i just got one basicly blind buy for 150$, and the hybrid amp internal do i have to run that to my battery? cuase already have a 10gage running to it from my amp, and will that drain the battery?, so many questions, dose it have a motorized face? and last but not least dose it change colors on the keys? thanks

yes it is a real nice unit. it was alpine's top unit (well that and the cda-7998) before the cda-9835 came out. yes i would run the power wire to the battery. yes the face is motorized. you can't change the colors like the newer models that came out, but when you do push a few buttons like the eq and mx button it changes to an orange color for about 30 seconds, but that's about it.

Yup awesome deck :D The internal power is surprizingly good too. Lots of features and the motorized face looks pimp ;)

yup yup!!!I'd used this player once before I sold it to my friend very impressive+detailed mp3 folder.truly awesome 60wX4 channel unit. if only the display is like 9835 I'd put 10 out of 10 for it :D

ebay is too hard to get a good deal on a deck, i was tryin to get a 9811 but price skyrocketted just now
