i hav 6.5" Boston Pro's and i absolutely love them. The 5.25 will not get the bass that u would get with my 6.5's but i will say this. any speaker that i get from now on will be boston, hands down

Boston Z5's, Focal Utopias, Rainbow, Dynaudio, Morel, Seas, Scanspeak, etc etc.

Just remember, you can still make good speakers sound like crap with a subpar install :)

Of all the speakers I've heard, I prefer Dynaudio. I like MB Quarts (and have owned 2 sets) but the Dyns blow them away IMO. I haven't heard CDT gear but I've read a lot of really good things about their high end sets too, ditto for DLS.

The Adire Koda 6.1's look really nice...I'm thinking about going with them.

Seas Lotus Reference will probably be seen more in the competitions this year. Probably will rival a lot of the Focal, Dyn, DLS, Morel, Rainbow set ups out there. They are available through www.mobilesq.com

SONY! only the XPLODS lol, or like K-mart rampage, with a pioneer amp that pushes like 35 watts! UMM actually no, i just bought a set of Rainbows. After thurough research i decided with them. If i were you look at Dynaudio and Rainbow Platinum line and I hear the Seas are getting **** good reviews.

Then you better hurry. Adire has a limited stock left on them for they are due for redisign but no ETA on those so they won't be out anytime soon. Call ADire, they are selling it below retail. BTW they are nice :D I have them

2g's WoW...LoL I was only spendin' $1,000 on the MB Quarts...But I could get them for 600 from my friend he works at a car audio store.

I'm Thinkin' maybe CDT's though or those Focals...Come on Squek are those all on the same level pretty much!?

Can't beat CDTs for $200 and under. For $300 range I love my DLSs. For more than that, I would look into rainbows. Friend had a set and they were amazing.

I would take a set of $200 CDTs over any JL component. I've heard them all side by side in the same car, and no comparison.

You have heard the new JL zr's. How did they sound? I didn't think they were out yet :uhoh: My buddy works for a JL dealer and they don't have them yet and are not sure of the eta on them. I agree that the CDT's crush anything out by JL now, but I have heard good things about the ZR's.

Yo speedycoupe, I took a good look at those Rainbows, and the stats are good. On the outside.. do they have any spec sheets? or do they stand up to speculation? Ive heard nothing but good things so far..

And I cant seem to find any retailers..
Know any sites i can get some pricing on?

wanna soup up my buds ride with some comps and an amp..

Thezeb.com has some good deals on some of the CDT's and not so good deals on some other cdt's.

I just installed MB QUart PCE-216's and I'm powering them with a JL Audio 300.2. I got to listen to my installer's car with Focal Utopias and the same amp - we both agreed that the MB Quarts sounded better - and my quarts aren't even the Q series, the PCE's are the next step down from the Q series. I paid $300 for them - had to talk the local shop down from the retail price of $499. I've seen them on ebay for $250 plus shipping, but I thought it was worth another $30 for the warranty.

I know your prolly just posting this for reference of pricing, but theyre not a dealer, and havent been for quite some time. Arc cut them off when they still had charge of distribution for doing online sales and getting caught.

True they are not a dealer...but they sell them, and for a descent price( only because they are not a dealer). If i remember there are a couple guys on another european forum...dont remember which one but i kno they sell rainbows...
you might have to just contact rainbow and ask for dealers in the U.S.
