:up2somet:

around last year (specifics  ) my grand father gave me some old bookshelf speakers. THese things banged like mofos. well, needless to say, they were from the 80s and dry rotted and disintegrated. i built two new speakers from the old ones, and they banged even louder, but i decided to plug them into the wall for some fun ( :D ). so now i want to make new speakers so that i can have two systems. Theyre 8" cabinets with i think a 3 '' at the top. i took out the 3 or so inch mid so i could make them ported, but now i wanna fill them in. i'm looking on parts express for some woofers. oh, these will be the rear surrounds for the sterro. i have advent towers as the fronts and a mtx sw2 as the sub. how are these lookin to ya?

i really dont wanna spend alot, like 50 bucks total w/o shipping. what would you recommend?

That mid looks like an Audax aerogel clone...

Spend the money, go with Koda 8's :D :D

mang, kodas are kinda bass heavy, and are $$$$$$$$$$

i have tower speakers already, i just wanna fill in my grandpas's cabinets. i was running rat shack multipurpose (woo hoo no sq!) 8's, and i'm sick of the distortion.
