Anyway...
I have an older Alpine CDA-7998. That is the one with no internal amp but has tons of other features including 2/3 way x-over, time delay options, EQ, ect. Also, I will be piecing together a 3-way system in the future with companies like Morel, Seas Lotus, Scan Speak, Dayton, Peerless, or DLS Utopias.
Is this head unit "good enough" for a high-end custom 3-way front stage without any other processors? Does it have the control to properly x-over my future system? Has anyone else done this?
