I installed my crappy system finally and I got it to work finally but my sub tries to play highs and lows.... i just want it to play bass.... my friend told me he got his to only play lows by doing somthing through his h/u but i couldnt find it on mine (Jvc KD-S640 ...ino its crappy....was free) so i was wandering if anyone knew how to do it on this h/u or if u do it through the h/u

you need a Low Pass Filter (LPF)

it is a filter that cuts off the frequency above a certain point
your HU MAY have one built in, your amp MAY have one built in, you can purchase an external one
i dont know if it hurts it or not but its bad for imaging
i wanna see your llama too

so do u think that its my amp .... cuz i cant figure it out on my crap h/u
...i have kenwood kac-x520 2 channel (1000W or 500x1 rms)
if it is what do i need to switch or do to make the sub only play bass
