I'm currently running four Boston Acoustics Pro 60's up front. The bottom of my doors are built out and ther're angled up with the tweeters between the two woofers. I'm also running a set out back as rear fill. JL 10w6 for a sub, IVAD 300 for H/U. All powered with two 300/4 JL and a 500/1 JL. Need to raise the soundstage, but don't know pros and cons of silk vs metal. I lonly listen to live music so imaging is crucial. Thanks for any help.

as far as the tweeters go, look into the dynaudio lines. they are amazing products. i am not sure if they have a crossover with them, look into them to make sure. oh and i think probably the best imaging without knowing the exact car can be found when mounting in the a-pillar.

I'll check those out. it's a land rover discovery. if my tweeters in my door are alloy should i keep ambient tweeters the same? thanks

Search for the 1" aura thread. It's cheap and sounds very very nice.
