yes but

your HU must have rca in (video[yellow red white] audio) which would be AUX?
and then for ur laptop it needs to have rca outs or get a special cord that converts that 15 pin external monitor to rca cord. and for sound you would run an 1/8" stero plug to rca

but besides that why would u want ur laptop on ur probaby small screen and that to use the laptop it has to be open and etc?

for the video if the HU has s video and the laptop like mine it has s video but if the HU doesnt but the laptop does you can get a converter to convert the s video to composite (yellow rca) at radioshack probably. or you could get one here (http://www.cyberguys.com/templates/searchdetail.asp?T1=128+3220&dept=&search=&child=) this place is very reliable.

my laptop screen went out or acatually the light that shines through the screen and its about $400 to replace. id rather jsut get a normal screen or dvd player with monitor to use. then i could also add navigation to my laptop.

so then you would only be able to use your laptop in your car...
