Anyone had any experience with the CDT HD-63s? These are ideal for me.. but if I HAVE to go through the pain of installing components, I will. I'd, of course, rather not. Just wondering how good these things perform and if they are worth compromising a standard component setup.

The braxials are a regular comp set with the tweeter "co-axially" mounted. Many other companies offer this option (such as Boston Acoustics), and with a little work you can use something like a metal bar and make your own "tweeter bridge" to use with ANY component set. Basically, what I'm getting at is to not limit yourself to the CDT's; find a comp set that you like the sound of and go with those and use/make the co-axial tweeter mouting.

I used the tweeter bridge with my Boston Acoustic's Pro6.5 comp set and liked it.
