1.)Panasonic

2.)JVC Arsenal

3.)Kenwood Excelon

4.)Alpine

Now,I'am talking about for the over-all features & performance:
High volt RCA's
Plays:MP3/CD/CDR's
Remote
Detachable
High & Low pass-filters
EQ
Three RCA Outputs
Good S/N ratio :96-105%

for the buck? Alpine is GREAT, but I think JVC Arsenal would be better for the dollar

Alpine....I like my CDA-9830 way better than my pioneer DEH-P350, however that doesn't make it the best value....I got my Alpine really cheap....$220 from a retail store..I thought it was a pretty good deal.......Although the pioneer wasn't as compicated..... I don't have experience with JVC or Panasonic, I couldn't help you there...
