what speakers fit a 97 nissan altima in the rear?

Hi,
i bought a pair of pioneer 6x9's for my 97 nissan altima. However when i went to best buy to install them...they said they dont fit. Weird thing is that on sites like circuitcity.com and others like cardomain.com(where is bought my stuff from) say that the 6x9's fit perfectly. Please advise me on what i should do, if the 6x9's can be fit...if not i guess i'll have to return them and get what size?

why don't you pop your trunk... and look at the speaker from the bottom and see for yourself... if it's round... 6½... oval... 6x9"

thanks, and if it were to be round then the 6x9's i ordered wud be useless? no way of fitting them?

not unless you feel like cutting the hole bigger with a metal cutter.
