I was working on installing my comps again. Decided to do it myself, I am putting the crossovers in the trunk and running speaker wires through the doors to the mid.

I am putting the tweeter in the factory location which is on the A pilar (the bar along the side of the windshield). and there is nothing to screw into to mount it. It looks like they used elec tape or some glue to do it the first time.

So now I am wondering what I can use to mount them, any ideas?? thanks.

I will try to put a pic in my gallery to give you an idea.

I did a temp install of some cheap-o tweaters (because my DEI ones were inaudible) with 3M double sided tape. That was over a year ago and they haven't budged an inch. It may not be the utmost of professional installs, but it definitely works.

Try VBH trim panel tape for body trim :) Prep the surface with alcohol.... you would be lucky to ever remove the tweets if you wanted to take them off :D Is that a nissan..?

yeah, 2002 Altima.

If there is enough room then I will be able to mount the "casing" that the tweet sits in which is made to be recessed into a door panel or kick panel, and allows the tweeter to swivel. Which that would really help me be able to aim it better to get a little better imaging out of it.
