Ive got around 180w or so per side to give comps, & a $350 budget.

These will be in my doors(deadened) & CANT be above 6.5". Looking for Good midbass, nice midrange, & a tweeter somewhat close to the sound of a JL XR tweeter. If i didnt hate the XR mids, i would just buy a set, but i do hate them.

Any suggestions?

CDT HD62, ID CXS64 or 62....I just picked up a pair of ID CXS54's for $99 Brand New. A guy had 3 sets on Ebay and I think they lasted about 20 min. I know the one's I bought had only been viewed once. I know the CDT is built for a door install and both have softer highs. I never heard the Orions but I understand they're a great comp too. If you want bright highs try MBQuart PC's

Find a pair of Boston Acoustics Pro6.5's. They love power and will eat up that 180w/side
