How do two woofers in a common enclosure (meaning not separated) affect the size and sound if at all?

no effect. Subtract the vD of both woofers and call it a day.

Thanks and now I am off to the make a box with george thread. BTW, I'll have you know ever since the last girl claimed I gave her a VD and the birth of my son I have used condoms.......most of the time........sometimes............okay fine once in a while

so if i have a box on say 1 cu foot and one sub, i could put 2 subs in that 1 cu foot and it wont affect it (besides louder)(this to me doesnt seem right, btw....)

just remember the subs will discplace volume...

It will affect it. It will affect the loudspeaker's frequency response, output, resonance, tuning (if ported), and vB.
