I finally got a digital cam for x-mas so i decided to take a pic of the certificate i got when i got metered. It was on a TL with my car turned off, trunk sealed off and in a sealed box. Equipment was a jbl 1200.1 and 2 12'' RE SExxx's. I also only got one run since I blew a fuse and didnt have an extra. Now that I have ported my trunk i'll have to get it metered again this time with my car running.

Ya know Street A is 4 8"s, 2 10"s, or 1 12"....You should have been in Street B....Glad to see the judging is just as stringent there too

That pretty much sums up most opinions about the format... unfortunatly.

Hmmm, in that case I'll unhook one of my 12s and leave the other in the box still, bust out a 144-145 in Street A. That's pretty retarded. Almost sounds like a show in Calgary I went to last year, guy pulls up and does a 135 in Street A, on, next run he busts out a 142, everybody is like ooooh, let's go take a look what he's running, I looked in the hatch, and told Ray that he was running 2 12s. How did they miss that in tech inspections? Oh wait, just tell them what you are running and they believe you. Stupid stuff.

Not to bag on Ray, but you gotta check out every car, just quickly look at it, because a lot of average joes have no idea what they are doing or what class they should be in.

The problem is, at most local shows, there ARE NO inspections. Ive even been to 3x Nopi shows, and nobody was inspecting the vehicles. You could pretty much run whatever setup you wanted to at a local show and be in a street class. There are lots of great judges in DB Drag, but there are a WHOLE lot more bad ones.

Yeah I talked to the guy before I notified Ray, he was like 'I am in whatever class you guys put me in.' He had no idea he was in the wrong class, and wasn't cheating per say, he just didn't know he was in Street A instead of B.

^^At least it's consistent. It's kind of neat for me to bust out an occassional 152 on my mic, but it ***** because I know it's just deciding to be high that day. :(

If that was directed to me, I'd love to, but my trunk isn't tall enough for 15s, otherwise I'd give Street C a go as well.

mmm street C.... :)

Give termpro a visit, there are some rule changes that are being thrown around, I suggest everyone puts in there two cents less you want to roll into the lanes next to a guy w/ 8 JBL crown amps lol (that may have been a lil overboard?)

Ricktc

Yeah I saw the new rule matrix...unlimited amps in street = the rich people having more of an advantage than they do now.

Bastards with too much money :( Let us poor people have a chance!
