if it didnt rattle and didnt have any sharp corners, i really doubt you would hear any difference

Hmm...when i build my box, im thinking about running some l.e.d.'s in the corners of the port. im sure it wouldnt matter if a tiny bulb was glued to the box, hardly obstructs the airflow at all...just not sure what i would power them off of.
