Ported or sealed, IA LI 12" subs

I just bought two IA LI 12" subs, on the site it says they will need from 1.0-1.75 cubic feet sealed recommended.

It says they will work equally well in ported/sealed enclosures.

What would you recommend?

I kinda want to build a box at around 30hz for it, but what would you recommend the volume for a ported enclosure for these subs? same as 1.0-1.7?

im guessing you got the LI's cause you wanted to be loud? port those bastards ;) as for ported volume, should be on the site somewhere. sealed as ported will never be the same due to the fact that you got so much port displacement. but yea, should be on the site, and 30hz sounds like a good tuning. 30-35 are all good tunign for daily. i run 37 and its still good. good luck! let us know how you like them

2.5 cubes per LI is perfect for daily driving. 35 sq in port per sub is good too :)
