does anybody kno if a stock '02 maxima head unit has pre-outs for an amp? or if theres any where online for me to look to find out? its a friends car so i cant just pop it out and look so thats why im asking. thanks guys

Nope no preouts. Spoken from ALOT of Maxima experience. Then again, I dont know of any factory HUs with preouts.

maxima ownz accord anyday of the week. although the new v6 coupes are nice.

I agree, I think that the new Accord V6 coupe is nice, but a 5.5 gen Maxima is a whole lot more car for a whole lot less money...besides, for the price of a new "loaded" accord coupe you can shop around and pick up a nice used Bimmer 325 coupe for around the same price!

^^+1. my bro is getting the base model 2005 accord lx coupe and its 18k at cost...way too much imo.

Anew Loaded Accord will be right around $29K w/Navi, Maxima in the ballpark of $35K. I see more bang for the buck with the Accord. Aside from that Honda will up more resale value than Nissan. ;)

My bad, I meant the 5th or 5.5 gen Maximas, not the new 6th Gen, which has a sunroof that look similar to a toaster slot. While I will agree that the Honda will hold a higher resale value, their interiors bore the hell out of me, hence why I'm the proud owner of a Maxima!
