Does anyone know what sizes the speakers are in the 2003 wrangler and if there are any adapters needed for them?

4x6" speakers. you will have to modify them to fit larger (better) speakers in their place.

i dont believe there are rear speakers. you could always build some 6.5" pods and hang them from the rollcage or somthing. would be

Up front comes with 4x6 plates. the rear sound bar comes with 5.25. but you can fit 6.5. There are adpaters to let you get 5.25 coaxials or comps in front. If you wanna go with 4x6 plates, don;t waste a lot of money on great speakers up there, you will barely hear anything at all. The rear speakers are so close to your head, that they are all you'll hear.

Up front I have infinity 4x6 plates, 5.25 polk/momos in the rear soundbar (yeah I know most dont liek them but I got them because the tweeter can be angled towards the driver and pass instead of pointing straight down). FWIW I think they sound good...plenty loud with top down. The rear has a probox with two alpine type R subs. Two amps went under the rear seat. Sub amp is a JL audio 500/1 and a JL audio 300/4 powers the 4 speakers. Alpine 9830 too. I'm very happy with it, top up and down.
