You prob dont wanna here this but most people say they sound better in a sealed box. go to www.bcae1.com scroll down on the right side until you get to the basic encloure measurements. click it and read theres a lot of good stuff there

yeah but i have a ported box at like 2 cubed at like 38-39 hz slotted port, and it sounds nice, i was wondering if i should try making it bigger at like .75 cube to that

i threw my friends R in my 1.9cu.ft ported box and it rocked!!!!! then i had a bass cd in and it was playing really nice....then we smelt something burning...then it blew! it sounds nice in that size box that u have. depends on how much watts i guess.

is it worth making it bigger? maybe ill try to make room then invert the sub to add around .25 cu ft

When I plotted it on WinISD, the curve I liked the best was 2.25 ft^3 tuned to 28 Hz. Yummy. Someday I'll build it.

well i have a box at 2 cu feet not including the slot port, and its at like 38hz sounds nice but im sure it could sound better, should i cut the box on the end and make it a few inches wider to add liek .5 cu ft? if i make it 3.5 inches wider it will be at like 2.5 cu ft is it worth doing that?
